ReArtica emerged from a desire to bring together dramaturgy, strategy, and reflection – for the art, the people, and the ways we work.
Gulli Sekse
Behind Reartica
Gulli Sekse is the founder and director of ReArtica. She holds a MA in Theatre Studies from the University of Bergen and has over ten years of experience within the performing arts field.
Her background spans artistic development, dramaturgy, touring and distribution, international collaboration and connective work, as well as strategic and curatorial development.
As Touring Director at Carte Blanche – The Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance, she led the company’s national and international touring activities. She developed strategies for collaboration and dissemination, contributed dramaturgical and curatorial perspectives, and built an extensive network of international partners.
In parallel, she has been active as a dramaturg and in artist-led initiatives and collaborations
– including as co-founder, co-creator, and performer in WALK OF SHAME.
She has also been involved in artistic research, developing and deepening a practice within landscape dramaturgy and ambient dramaturgy.
Through ReArtica, she brings together these experiences in a practice that explores how movement and coherence can be created – and how new ways of thinking and collaborating can emerge within and beyond the performing arts field.
